Wayfinder is inviting everyone to the “Call of the Void” with its mid-season update. The update continues Airship Syndicate’s improvements to the game and starts the first limited time event, with new quests and a new boss.
The Call of the Void event will last for several weeks and you'll get the opportunity to wield a new weapon, a two-handed Breaker called Juggernaut. There are two new quests in the event, “Harbingers of Chaos” and “The Final Score” to complete, enemies like Talon of Pyre, and a new hunt with a new boss, Bloodbore. A Gloom Dagger skin is a reward for completing the event while it’s on.
The rest of the new patch focuses on a number of continued work on gameplay, player experience, quality of life issues, and fixing bugs. This is the second update in a row with a number of fixes intended to address some of the major issues those who have participated in this Founders beta have been encountering since the launch.
A number of these fixes intend to address several frustrating issues, including things that weren't working as intended, and other issues like crashes and major bugs. Some of these were causing crashes, players getting kicked off the server for looting a gold pile, Mastery perks getting accidentally deactivated after traveling, and other similar issues. Some of these are obviously frustrating and impact the ability to play the game, so it is good that Airship Syndicate has been prioritizing these fixes.
There are also some enhancements and improvements, including visual improvements. Is a good sign that the team is ready to have its first event, so if you do have access to the founders beta, you can jump into the event and see what's new right now.
