GameMill, the publisher that reportedly crunched a studio into releasing one of the worst games of the year, is at it again. A new trailer for one of its latest games, Walking Dead: Desinties, was just shared and is getting thoroughly dunked on by all.
The trailer doesn't show any gameplay and instead opts for a strange homage to The Shining. Just with awkwardly overlaid with dialogue from the characters, which hardly fits the scene. The poor quality of the trailer and its visuals has the comment section lauding the game as a true "GameMill original" - a label that is particularly insulting after the disastrous King Kong game from last month.
The trailer was just shared onto the official PlayStation YouTube account, although it will also be available on Xbox, Switch, and PC, in case you're afraid of missing out. It's nowhere near as disastrous as the Rise of Kong trailer, as the art itself is well done - it's just the editing that makes everything feel so... off. Particularly with the lack of gameplay on show, just ten days before release.
The comments aren't being particularly generous, especially now that GameMill is infamous in the gaming community for low-quality licenced games.
"This is a certified GameMill original," says YouTube user @redwave-621. "This can't be real lol," agrees @MrJol420.
"Really weird choice of advertisement when I was actually looking foward to seeing more of the actual game... Did you upload the wrong video?" complains @JeromeSankara.
A previous trailer we covered did show off some gameplay if you'd like to take a look. Sadly, this also failed to impress.
In any case, we'll all see the actual game soon enough, with Walking Dead: Desinties set to launch on all platforms on November 17. Fingers
