Sony announced earlier this year that development had begun on a movie adaptation of the acclaimed horror adventure title Until Dawn, which was developed by Supermassive Games and published by PlayStation in 2015. Now, another update has been provided on the movie, and it seems it’s making steady progress.
Asad Qizilbash, who is the head of PlayStation Productions – the label that is jointly producing the film with Screen Gems – recently took to Twitter and revealed that filming has begun on the Until Dawn movie.
As previously confirmed, Until Dawn is being directed by David F. Sandberg of Shazam! and Lights Out fame. It will star Maia Mitchell, Belmont Cameli, Ella Rubin, Michael Cimino, Ji-young Yoo, and Odessa A’zion. Additionally, Peter Stormare reprises his role as the enigmatic Dr. Hill from the game.
A remaster of Until Dawn will also release for PS5 and PC this fall.
