Concentration Takes 100 Hours to Fully Recover in The War Within
Run out of Concentration while crafting? It will take a while to recover — from 0 to the cap of 1,000, it takes 100 hours to fully recover this resource in The War Within.
Crafting Professions this expansion can no longer spam recrafts to gamble an Inspiration proc for a rank 5 item; instead, crafters must utilize Ingenuity and Concentration, the newest Secondary Stats added to the Profession system.
While Ingenuity can refund a portion of spent Concentration on a proc, Concentration is the real bottleneck in this equation: guaranteeing a rank up with each use, this powerful new currency is in quite limited supply. Players can only have a maximum of 1,000 Concentration at any given point, and the recharge rate is painfully slow.
Concentration recharges at a rate of one point per six minutes, meaning players can only recharge 10 Concentration per hour. With a cap of 1,000, that means a full Concentration recharge takes a whopping 100 hours.
For crafters, this can be a frustrating process.
With this incredibly slow accrual rate, Concentration is turned into an extremely valuable resource — which in turn can be leveraged for premium profits due to its scarcity. Those who like sitting in trade chat all day to make their gold, however, may feel unduly punished.
