Do you love planting trees and going green (or making efforts to go green)? Then you probably love games that are based on environment and ecology as well. I’m talking about Netflix Games’ eco-strategy game, Terra Nil, which just dropped its latest update, Vita Nova.
The Vita Nova update in Terra Nil brings many new features. First off, you get five brand-new levels to tackle. You get new challenges to restore the polluted and desolate Polluted Bay. You get to bring life back to the Scorched Caldera, which has been completely devastated by a volcanic eruption.
Each new level presents a unique challenge and a new landscape to transform from wasteland to paradise. You also get nine new buildings to play with. These additions are perfect for you if you love experimenting with new strategies to optimise your ecological restoration.
The wildlife system has had a complete overhaul in Terra Nil, courtesy of the Vita Nova update. Now, animals will emerge more naturally over time. Also, they come with a deeper set of needs that you’ll need to fulfil to keep them happy and thriving.
Say hello to your new friend, the Jaguar! Yep, you get a brand-new species to care for. Apart from this new animal, there’s a new world map, too. It’s a fully 3D map that you can rotate to make planning your eco-friendly empire more immersive.
If you have already turned all the previous levels green, these new challenges of the Vita Nova update will be super fun!
The new update sounds pretty decent. If you haven’t played Terra Nil yet, let me tell you what it is. It’s about turning barren wastelands into lush, vibrant ecosystems. You plant sprawling forests, purify soil and clean polluted oceans, transforming these devastated environments into ecological paradises.
Just like in real life, turning lifeless soil into fertile grasslands further leads to creating habitats for animals. Terra Nil is a reverse city builder. The game’s lush, hand-painted environments make it a calming experience. Go ahead
