If you’re one of many who loved Sea of Stars upon its launch last year and are looking for excuses to jump back into its offerings, there are things to look forward to. Developer Sabotage Studio has previously confirmed that the game is set to receive a post-launch expansion, as well as a three-player co-op mode, and recently, it provided more brief updates on both upcoming additions.
Both updates arrived on Twitter in response to fans, with Sabotage Studio confirming that the DLC remains in production, having entered full production earlier this year, and that work is continuing on the co-op mode as well. Further details on both will be revealed later in the year, according to the developer, though it remains to be seen how much longer we’ll have to wait. Could an announcement be lined up for Gamescom?
Sea of Stars is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Sabotage Studio announced earlier in the year that the RPG had crossed 5 million players across all platforms.
Production on the DLC is going well. More details will come later this year!
