Thursday is here and the word selection for today has a few mismatched choices that could throw you off the real category scents. The overall game shouldn't be too difficult to solve for most as the choices cover a broad selection of topics.

There was a tricky pirate-theme trying to sneak its way into today's game with certain word combinations. CREW, COMPASS, and MERMAID all lost us an attempt as we tried to make that work. It wasn't until we separated out PIXIE and BUZZ that we saw the yellow category for what it was. It wasn't a fast score, but we were still successful in it.

Once CREW was removed it didn't take long to see COMPASS matching nicely with SCALE. This led us right into our second win of the day, the green category. Our brains kept insisting that RULER should match with KING or COLONEL, but after another failed attempt we finally let that go.
