Monopoly is a timeless game, but like most tabletop experiences in life, it only gets better when you add some swords and sorcery to the mix. A Witcher-themed version of Monopoly is now available, and as you'd expect, it puts a magical spin on the real estate board game. Though Monopoly is widely considered to be a family-friendly board game, this particular edition is recommended for ages 17 and older.
Available for $45 directly from The OP or $50 at Amazon (from a third-party seller), Monopoly: The Witcher combines the drive to purchase valuable property with dangerous monsters from The Witcher universe. You'll be able to buy, sell, and trade dangerous monsters such as Bruxa, Crone, Leshen, and more, and while you're maneuvering around the board, you can work some magic with custom show object tokens, including a Flaming Book, Lute, and Crystal Skull.
Some locations that can be upgraded--similar to buying houses/hotels in regular Monopoly--and if you can prevail in Bounty and Law of Surprise situations, you'll eventually be the last player standing. Here's a closer look at what's included in this collection:
If Monopoly isn't your thing, several other great deals are available right now for other gaming experiences. Amazon has new holiday-themed bundles for Pokemon: The Trading Card Game, the Arcade 1Up Infinity Game Board offers dozens of other board games in one convenient tablet device, and these Tokyo Ghoul manga box sets are perfect for a rainy day of relaxation.
