There is a new expansion for that will be arriving on both PC and consoles just in time for Halloween. Known as the Expansion, this additional content not only provides players with multiple new locations with lots to discover, but also grants sims, both living and dead alike, the chance to explore new careers and gain new abilities. EA has certainly gotten into the Halloween spirit with this new expansion, and it promises to provide players with a fun and spooky experience that will keep them captivated.
The Expansion introduces players to the mysterious and enchanting realm of Ravenwood, where various creepy happenings are quite commonplace, even inside the Sims' very own homes. Humans and ghosts live alongside each other, occasionally partaking in various creepy celebrations that acknowledge both the living and the dead. With so much new content being offered, there is a lot to look forward to in this expansion that is absolutely perfect for the spooky season.
There are many new gameplay features that will be introduced in the Expansion, with the most exciting one being the opportunity to play as ghost sims. In Ravenwood, the life of a Sim doesn't end after they die, allowing players to let their Sims remain playable household members even after they have passed on and become ghosts. These ghosts can be either helpful towards living Sims, or choose to live their afterlife causing mayhem for those around them.
This expansion also comes with multiple new career opportunities for Sims. By working as an undertaker, Sims will have a career that focuses on preparing bodies for funerals, as well as ensuring that all lingering spirits are able to move on peacefully. The more exciting job is the Reaper Profession, which will allow sims to work for the Grim Reaper as an intern at the Netherworld Department of Death, and eventually reach a high enough level that will allow them to determine what souls shall be reaped, and which will continue to live.
