If you haven't played the Nintendo Switch remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, you may want to fix that by picking up a super-cheap copy at GameStop. The retailer is selling preowned copies of Link's Awakening for only $22, which is a shockingly good price.
We've never seen Link's Awakening sell for close to this price, and it's exceedingly rare for first-party Switch exclusives to even drop below $30. Even preowned Switch exclusives tend to keep their value and sell fairly close to MSRP.
You can order online for delivery or pick up the game at your local store (if it's in stock). It's important to note that preowned games sold by GameStop do not necessarily come with the original case. You may receive a Switch case with generic cover art. If that's a dealbreaker for you, it's worth mentioning that brand-new copies of Link's Awakening are on sale for $40 at Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart.
The remake of the Game Boy classic features an adorable new art style, welcome quality-of-life improvements, and additional items and collectibles to find on Koholint Island. It's a great game to revisit for those who are nostalgic for the traditional Zelda formula. Link's Awakening is also an ideal first Zelda game for youngsters. It earned an 8/10 in our The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening review.
If you're looking forward to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, check out our preorder guide, which includes details on the Collector's Edition and new Link Amiibo. There's also a Tears of the Kingdom preorder deal that knocks $10 off the price.
