Rare WoW Outfit Alert: Ethereal Soul-Trader Set Now Transmoggable
wowhead.comThe Ethereal Soul-Trader is a unique battle pet that can only be learned from the Soul-Trader Beacon, a Trading Card Game item. Killing worthy enemies while this pet is summoned generates a currency that can be used to trade with your Soul Trader for a variety of items, including the Soul Trader set. Up until recently, this outfit was not available for transmog, but that's changed in Patch 10.0.5.
Soul-Trader's OutfitThe Ethereals are a race whose bodies were torn apart the Void energies of the Twisting Nether in an ancient catastrophe. Though their bodies were destroyed, the same incident infused their souls, granting them enhanced minds and magical abilities. Lacking a corporeal form, the Ethereals wrap themselves in enchanted bandages to imitate the structure of a body. The Soul-Trader's outfit mimics this look, and consists of the following pieces:
Soul-Trader's Head Wrap Soul-Trader's Boots Soul-Trader's Gloves Soul-Trader's Pauldrons Soul-Trader's Bindings Soul-Trader's WaistbandOnly players who have obtained the Soul-Trader Beacon will currently be able to farm the Ethereal Credits required to purchase and use this set. As the Ethereal Soul-Trader is a Battle Pet, it can be bought and sold on the Auction House, and it also sometimes shows up on the Black Auction House — though expect it to be pretty expensive either way. Of course, there's always a chance that it could make an appearance as a Twitch drop sometime as well. For now, this transmog set is going to remain extremely rare.
