The Last of Us Part II Remastered is among the first games to receive a PS5 Pro patch ahead of the console's release in around two weeks.
The 1.2.0 patch, which went live a few hours ago, introduces a new rendering mode that takes advantage of the PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution upscaler, with a new Pro mode that renders at 1440p with a 4K resolution, 60 FPS gameplay delivered with the upscaler. The regular Performance and Fidelity modes will also be available on the upcoming console and will provide a smoother experience and high framerates compared to the base model.
The new The Last of Us Part II Remastered patch also introduces a few additional minor fixes. You can check out the full patch notes detailing these fixes on the Naughty Dog official website.
