Just over a week before it was slated to release, The Day Before has been bumped by one month.
In a post on the game's official Twitter account, the developers announced that the title would now be coming out on December 7th rather than the previously-announced November 10th. The Day Before is now set to come to Steam Early Access and will not have pre-orders.
"[A] full version release will happen when we are certain this is the best version of the game possible, and we believe that player feedback and involvement will greatly contribute to achieving this," the developers wrote.
"The next-gen console version will also come with the full release."
Developer Fntastic has also said that it has resolved the trademark dispute that it was previously involved in for the game with a Korean calendar app.
The Day Before has had quite the journey, going from being one of the most anticipated games on the horizon to consumers doubting that even exists. The game was initially set to come out in June 2022 before being bumped to March 2023 just one month before it was set to come out. Fntastic said that this was to port the game from Unreal Engine 4 to the newer Unreal Engine 5. From that March release date, the title was booted to November.
