The Avengers are getting a magical upgrade from Doctor Strange, as the hero uses a powerful relic to turn their mech-strike armors into something much more monstrous. In Mech Strike: Monster Hunters #1 from Marvel Comics, Earth's Mightiest Heroes watch as a handful of powerful villains use the Eye of Kraken to become even more terrifying monsters. Marvel's Mech Strike series is back, as a new miniseries focuses on the Avengers taking on a group of villains who have used ancient magic to become monsters. Iron Man has built the superteam their own mechs to take on the likes of Venom, Loki, Dr. Doom, and the Green Goblin, all of whom have taken on new forms thanks to the Eye of the Kraken. However, after realizing their armors aren't strong enough, the Avengers seek answers from Doctor Strange, who offers to give them a similar monstrous upgrade to the villains they're facing.
