Dwayne Johnson teases how Black Adam will impact the future of the DCEU moving forward. Set for release on October 21,Black Adam stars Dwayne Johnson as the titular character. The movie is also set to introduce the Justice Society of America, including members Doctor Fate (Pierce Brosnan), Hawkman (Aldis Hodge), Cyclone (Quintessa Swindell), and Atom Smasher (Noah Centineo).
Since Black Adam was announced, Johnson has been teasing how the film will shift the balance of power in the DCEU. Each Black Adam trailer has showcased the eponymous character's power by depicting him catching rockets, punching fighter jets out of the sky, and going toe to toe with a number of different superheroes. Johnson recently made an electrifying entrance at San Diego Comic-Con to hype up Black Adam and its place within the DCEU. Johnson and the rest of his creative team have already begun teasing Black Adam's future in the cinematic superhero universe.

Speaking to Screen Rant during the WB press line at SDCC, Johnson teased how Black Adam will impact the future of the DCEU. While the actor has hinted at how his character will change the franchise's hierarchy, he also touched upon how he will affect its tone and story. Johnson said:
«That footage is a reflection of our tone. That footage is also a reflection of our director's vision, who wanted to create something that was different; who wanted to create a movie that was disruptive. But also he wanted to create a movie that would start the pendulum swing in the DC universe.
