Dwayne Johnson explains why he listened to fan feedback in making Black Adam. The actor plays the titular character in Black Adam, which is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Jungle Cruise) and features a number of new additions to the DCEU. Joining the film in their first live-action feature appearances are Dr. Fate (Pierce Brosnan), Hawkman (Aldis Hodge), Atom Smasher (Noah Centineo), Cyclone (Quintessa Swindell), and Isis (Sarah Shahi), as well as returning DCEU alum Viola Davis, reprising her role as Amanda Waller.
Johnson made his biggest promotion yet for Black Adam at Comic-Con, appearing onstage in costume and debuting a new trailer for the film, which made for an exciting reveal for the fans in attendance and around the world. In addition to Black Adam, a new trailer for Shazam! Fury of the Gods was also revealed, which has more than a few connections to Black Adam. Both films will release within a few months of one another, a shift that in release dates that happened recently and is likely due in part to the interconnections between the two characters, who both garner their powers from the same source.

While talking to Collider at Comic-Con, Johnson elaborated more about his first foray into the superhero genre with Black Adam.
