During the Hisuian Discoveries Event in Pokémon GO, Trainers have the opportunity to catch Hisuian Growlithe, a Fire- and Rock-type pocket monster that players will recognize from Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Players have until the end of the event on August 2 to get their hands on this striped dog-esque Pokémon. Naturally, this Hisuian variant is obtained differently from Growlithe's standard version in Pokémon GO. Therefore, understanding this acquirement method is essential for unlocking Hisuian Sneasel during the Hisuian Discoveries Event.
Similar to Hisuian Qwilfish or Hisuian Sneasel, Trainers must hatch a 7km Egg received during the Hisuian Discoveries Event to acquire Hisuian Growlithe. Players can recognize this Egg type by its gold-yellow shell dotted with patches of purple. These Hisuian event Eggs offer a chance to hatch a Hisuian Voltorb, Hisuian Qwilfish, Hisuian Sneasel, or Hisuian Growlithe. Unfortunately, Trainers will not be able to obtain the Shiny variant of Hisuian Growlithe since it does not currently exist in the game. Nevertheless, unlocking this new variant of Growlithe will still be a delight for Pokémon GO fans of the Hisuian Pokédex collection.

An optimal Moveset for Hisuian Growlithe would be Ember as its Fast Move and Flamethrower or Rock Slide as its Charged Move.
