Eevee is one of the most unique Pokemon in the history of the franchise, mainly thanks to its branching evolution tree. Whereas most Pokemon have linear evolutions, Eevee is able to evolve into all kinds of different creatures depending on various circumstances. These Eevee evolutions have also proven to be quite popular with fans, who are often asking to see more of them added. Unfortunately, it's been nearly a decade since a new Eevee evolution was introduced, and it doesn't look as though the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will be breaking that streak.
Some Pokemon fans have had their fingers crossed about Pokemon Scarlet and Violet potentially adding a new Eevee evolution to the mix, but it doesn't appear that will be the case. The last time a new Eevee evolution was introduced was in 2013's Pokemon X and Y when Fairy-type Sylveon made its debut.
