Reddit user Zeroexev29 recently posted a clip of their Pokemon Legends: Arceus adventure in which they're preparing to battle an Alpha Pokemon in one of the many trees dotting the Hisuian landscape. Alpha Pokemon appear much less regularly and are larger than their standard counterparts with improved stats glowing red eyes. Because Pokemon Legends: Arceus is the latest Pokemon title, until the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, there may be some secrets still waiting to be uncovered and Zeroexev29 has come across a useful trick regarding the Alpha Pokemon and their combat music.

Zeroexev29's Pokemon Legends: Arceus clip begins with the player standing next to a shaking berry tree in the Obsidian Fieldlands, the very first area that Pokemon players explore. As the tree shakes, Zeroexev29 summons their level 77 Kadabra by throwing a Poke Ball at the tree, which immediately causes the Alpha music to play. Before even revealing which Alpha Pokemon is in the tree, the music gives a hint at what awaits the Pokemon trainer as a wild Burmy leaps out half a second later.
