Part of what makes popular open world games like Zelda: Breath of the Wild so loved is their seemingly endless number of tiny details. While solid gameplay and a good story would likely be enough to make Zelda fans happy, the small quirks of the game keep those who have already invested hundreds of hours into the title invested.
One such player recently shared an interesting discovery with fellow fans. Cooking and eating food plays a pretty big role in Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and it seems like Bokoblins may have a unique way of enjoying a meal.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild fan and Reddit user hellraizer568 shared a screenshot of the game showing a Bokoblin standing near Link. What's interesting about the image is that the Bokoblin appears to be holding a shield, which has a piece of meat sitting atop it. It seems as though the Bokoblin is using the shield as a plate for its food, which has intrigued fans. The Bokoblins certainly use tools and weapons, but it seems not many fans have seen this before.
Some users were surprised to see that Bokoblins could even pick up food and eat it in the first place. However, if Link drops food near certain enemies, it can potentially happen. What's not clear is whether or not the Bokoblin ever show this particular behavior when eating on their own. Given Link's proximity, the player may have triggered a conflict with the Bokoblin, in which case it simply scooped up the meat with its off-hand, which just happens to be holding a shield at the same time.
