Despite the fact that over a decade has passed since the game was released, fans are still discovering new bugs, creating new mods, and making new tributes to the epic fantasy game. One of the more recent pieces of Skyrimfan art crosses the game over with the classic The Adventures of Tintin comic.
The Adventures of Tintin is a French/Belgian adventure comic book that was published from 1929-1976 and written by Georges Prosper Remi under the pen name Herge. It primarily followed the story of the character Tintin as he embarked on adventures and hunts for treasure and lost artifacts. The game's supporting characters include the cynical, alcoholic ship captain, Captain Haddock, Tintin's faithful dog, Snowy, the bumbling police officers Thompson and Thompson, the hard-of-hearing Professor Calculus, and opera singer Bianca Castafiore. Currently, a Tintin-based video game is in development from developer Moulinsart and French publisher Microids.

In the past, gamers have created their own tributes to Tintin in some unexpected ways. One player, for example, molded their Red Dead Redemption character after Captain Haddock, who was played by Andy Serkis in the 2011 film adaptation. In a recent post, Reddit user Kabooski123 shared a fun Skyrim crossover with Tintin. The image in question had the titular character facing down a Frost Troll as he ascended the 7,000 steps to gain an audience with The Greybeards.
