Actors Will Greenberg and John Gemberling join Apple TV+'s The Afterparty season 2. Created by Christopher Miller, the murder-mystery comedy series began streaming on Apple TV+ in January 2022. The show takes place after a high-school reunion party, where Xavier, a noted pop star, is murdered. Tasked with investigating the case is Tiffany Haddish's Detective Danner, who must interview each of the guests at the party to find the culprit. However, much to Danner's chagrin, each guest offers a different account of the events that precipitated the night of the murder. The series has been hailed by critics for its hilarious characters and genre-bending take on the whodunnit format, and Apple TV+ renewed The Afterparty for season 2 in March.
Now, Deadline reports the comedy series has recruited two new actors for its sophomore season. As per the site, Wrecked star Will Greenberg and Big Mouth's John Gemberling have joined The Afterparty season 2 in recurring roles. Greenberg and Gemberling will play the characters Judson and Jaxon, respectively, though full details of their new characters are being kept under wraps for now
