Each action figure in Hypercharge: Unboxed, including the Defence Corp character, has different heads and skins that can be unlocked and applied in the customization menu. Some of the options are unlocked automatically, and the Defence Corp action figure is also available right away. However, some of the head and skin cosmetics available for the Defence Corp action figure require a bit of work to unlock before the new items can be used for customizations.
A lot of the cosmetic options are tied to earning medals on specific maps. Depending on the difficulty setting, players can earn Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum. However, for Expert and Nightmare difficulties, players will get Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby, or Diamond medals. The medal that's awarded is determined by how many cores remain undamaged at the end of a match. Players will need to earn medals from both sets in order to unlock all of Hypercharge: Unboxed's Defence Corp heads and skins.

At the start of the game, players will have one head and two skins unlocked for the Defence Corp figurine. Additionally, there are universal heads and skins that can be used with any figure, so players will have access to a few of those as well. In order to start getting more cosmetic options for the Defence Corp character, players will mostly need to earn Platinum and Diamond medals.
New cosmetic options can be unlocked as early as the Tutorial level if players can locate all of the collectibles. There are also a few unlockables that only require a Silver medal to be earned.
