Triple H continues to aggressively reshape WWE's main roster as former NXT champion Karrion Kross re-debuted on the August 5 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Throughout the night, a verbal confrontation between Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns was hyped up as essentially the main event of the evening. After the Tribal Cheif said his piece, McIntyre came out to cut his promo but was brutally attacked by a returning Kross.
Kross was last seen on the main roster in November of last year but was released by the company.
