US publishing giant Take-Two is certainly feeling confident about the next entry in its Grand Theft Auto series.
Speaking to investors, chief exec Strauss Zelnick (pictured) talked up the game, saying that it will be far and above what the franchise has previously achieved, but will also set a new bar for entertainment in general. Big talk.
"With development of the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series well underway, the Rockstar Games team is determined to once again set creative benchmarks for the series, our industry, and for all entertainment, just as the label has done with every one of their frontline releases," Zelnick enthused.
A recent report from Bloomberg said that developer Rockstar had reevaluated its working culture to be less straining on staff, in addition to reshaping how it made games.
Take-Two has shipped around 170 million units of Grand Theft Auto V since its 2013 release, in addition to over 45 million copies shipped for 2018's Red Dead Redemption 2.
