Samsung Smart TV owners who have been on the fence about adding another streaming service can now get a three-month free trial to Apple TV+.
Now through Nov. 28, eligible customers with 2018-22 models can sign up to watch Oscar Best Picture winner CODA, Emmy darling Ted Lasso, and a slew of other programs, including Major League Baseball(Opens in a new window). In the US, Apple TV+ costs $4.99 per month (after a seven-day trial). The company does, however, offer three months free with the purchase of an eligible Apple device or 30 days with an Apple One bundle. That's down from the one year Apple offered when it first launched its streaming service, but as it added more noteworthy content like Severance, Cupertino moved to lock in paying subscribers a lot earlier.
Samsung Smart TVs, meanwhile, support an array of streaming apps like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Apple Music, YouTube, and Spotify.
