Six new cast members have been revealed as horror game docuseries TerrorBytes reaches the end of its funding campaign.
The five-part docuseries will chart the 40+ year history of horror video games from their humble beginnings to hot controversy and mainstream appeal. It’s already set to feature a bevy of big names from the genre, but has stacked that deck even higher with its latest additions.
The new additions to an already impressive cast of horror game industry names include Alien Isolation lead AI programmer Andy Bray, the creator of Clive Barker’s Jericho, and writer on Silent Hill Downpour Brian Gomez, and veteran games media personality Adam Sessler.
Also joining is Peter Wanat, who has been a producer on many licensed horror games, including The Thing and Chronicles of Riddick. The author of the excellent Resident Evil book Itchy, Tasty Alex Aniel, is also on board, and rounding out the latest additions is Dawn Fintor, who has been a Foley Artist on horror hits such as Resident Evil 7 and The Last of Us Part II.
The cast already confirmed for the five-part docuseries include Sam barlow (Immortality), Roberta Williams (Phantasmagoria), Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill composer), Hifumi Kouno (Clock Tower), Hubert Chardot (Alone in the Dark), Dennis Dyack (Eternal Darkness), Thomas Grip (SOMA, Amnesia, Penumbra), Mary Kenney (The Walking Dead: The Final Season), Yoshiro Kimura (Rule of Rose), Mathieu Coté (Dead By Daylight), Jeremy Blaustein (Silent Hill 2-4), Ben Leffler (Exmortis), and Abby and Tony Howard (Slay The Princess).
TerrorBytes is currently in a pre-sales campaign to help cover production costs. Available tiers include digital and physical editions and a range of exclusive limited-run physical merchandise. Supporters will also gain access to 15+ hours of exclusive live events over the next year, ahead of the documentary’s release in March/April 2025. its campaign has been extended until the early hours of tomorrow morning.
