With so much history to pull from, even a game as expansive as Breath of the Wild can't include every single character, boss, and monster from throughout Zelda's history. A lot of what was missing from the last game will likely be present in Tears of the Kingdom, though. That includes Gleeok, a multi-headed dragon that has been absent from the Zelda series for more than a decade.
Zelda fans were convinced they spotted Gleeok in a Tears of the Kingdom trailer back in February, and those suspicions were finally confirmed via a new TV ad for the sequel which shows the same shot with the dragon's name across the top of the screen. There's no denying it now, that's Gleeok we're up against.

In fact, the giant three-headed monster is described as Flame Gleeok in the new ad which has many of you even more excited about the boss' return. That's because the flame descriptor implies there will be more than one Gleeok in Tears of the Kingdom, and that each one will wield a different element. Potentially replacing the various Blight Ganons that controlled the Divine Beats in Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom's Gleeoks may possess fire, water, wind, and thunder powers. So, if you thought three mouths-turned-flamethrowers were bad, try three that can unleash a lightning storm.
It's just a theory right now, of course, and even if there are four Gleeoks with different powers in Tears of the Kingdom, there has been no confirmation that they will be the big bosses you need to take down on your way to completing the game's story.
