One of the biggest additions of Patch 10.2.6 was the Good Boy's Leash, giving Taivan as a mount. Taivan was a very big mount for dog standards, almost as big as a mammoth mount, but he has received a nerf overnight — He is now much smaller.

A World Awoken Dragonflight Meta-Achievement Guide — Taivan Mount
Taivan became a fan favorite of players in Dragonflight due to the questline we meet him in, in the Ohn'ahran Plains.
On the side questline involving him, Taivan's Purpose, we learn that Taivan is considerably bigger than the other Bakar we find in the plains, and because of that he is expected to be an amazing hunting or herding dog, but Taivan's gentle nature makes him not suitable to the task.
Through his story, we learn that his gentle demeanor actually makes him perfect to be a service dog, using both his considerable size to save centaurs buried under the debris of a destroyed village, and his gentle nature to comfort a centaur orphan. Completing his storyline awards Taivan's Trumpet, a toy to summon the good boy himself to give Versatility to players around you.
Taivan became available to players as a mount in Patch 10.2.6, as the final reward for the Dragonflight mega meta-achievement A World Awoken.
Players who first obtained this mount were delighted as they kept his full size, making him considerably bigger than other mounts, even though that led to some issues like a comically oversized saddle.
However, as of a hotfix last night, they have significantly reduced the size of Taivan as a mount, making him more of a normal Bakar.
