Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is out now, and as the game’s title implies, one of the toughest challenges you’ll face during the game’s campaign is… killing the Justice League. The third Squad member you’ll have to take out is Batman, and his boss fight is quite different from the other ones in the game. The Dark Knight douses you with fear gas, and you’ll have to navigate a hallucinatory Batcave before you can take him down. This may throw you off a bit, but don’t worry, with our tips you’ll be able to take down Batsy without too much trouble…
As mentioned, Batman will douse the whole team with fear gas, and you’ll have to navigate a trippy take on the Batcave with all four Squad members. You won’t have access to any of your advanced traversal abilities during this section, although you can still shoot and have a flashlight you can use to light the way. Definitely make use of the latter so you’re not bumping into stuff and falling over ledges.
You need to mix and then vent the fear toxin with each Squad member. This involves finding your way toward three mixing stations and then the place where you vent the gas. Don’t worry, mission markers show you which way you need to go, but again, it’s dark, so use your flashlight and move carefully.
While you’re making your way around, Batman will attack you in several ways. The Bat statues you pass may spring to life and attack you – just shoot these to fight them off. Occasionally, a big flaming bat will swoop down on you – these can be countered. Finally, you’ll notice blue bat symbols on the floor and walls, which essentially act like mines – just shoot these to eliminate them before they explode. If you take damage, getting to one of the mixers and pulling the switch will refill your health.
Once you’ve vented the gas with all four Squad members, it’s time to take on a giant, glowing demon Batman, which… actually isn’t that hard.
