Psychological horror game Stray Souls will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on October 25 for $29.99, publisher Versus Evil and developer Jukai Studio announced. Pre-orders are currently live via Microsoft Store.
PC users will also be able to purchase the Stray Souls “Cult Classic Edition” for $39.99, which includes the official soundtrack and Sacred Tome digital art book. The soundtrack, which features guest composer Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill) and veteran indie composer Pete Wicher, contains a total of 60 tracks totaling over three hours of music, including exclusive bonus tracks not featured in the game. The art book features a collection of gothic watercolor illustrations from the vault of artist Phil Worobey, plus a complete digital lore library encompassing all the discoverable notes, letters, and various documentation found throughout the game.
To commemorate the launch of the game, Watcher’s YouTube paranormal investigation series Ghost Files will release a Stray Souls-inspired episode on October 20, in which hosts Ryan Bergara and Shane Madej conduct their first private home investigation while utilizing some of the same tactics used in the game.
