SteamWorld Build mineshafts and doors allows you to explore underground areas further. This leads to discovering more treasures and reaching new floors. Of course, you also have to meet certain requirements before you can complete these tasks. Our guide discusses how to repair mineshafts and unlock doors in SteamWorld Build.
You can unlock mineshafts and doors in SteamWorld Build once you have access to them in a particular mine level/floor. Here's a quick summary:

Once you've fully repaired the mineshaft, you'll gain access to the first underground area, the Dusty Caverns. You can switch to this by pressing «2» on your keyboard.
Once you have access to the Dusty Caverns in the mines, you'll be able to unlock doors in SteamWorld Build. First, look at the three wires that are connected to levers. This means exploring the mine further and excavating sections with your assigned Miners until you discover all three.
There are times when the levers themselves are readily seen, so just click on the objects to activate them. However, there may be sections that are inaccessible, which means you'll have to find a means of reaching those areas. Here are some examples:
