Bethesda's Starfield has reached over six million players.
The news comes via the game's official Twitter account, which announced the milestone one day after the ambitious sci-fi RPG's actual release date. Folks who picked up the Constellation and Premium editions of Starfield could play the game a few days early.
Bethesda says that this is the company's biggest game launch to date.
This follows Starfield hitting one million concurrent players shortly after its release across all platforms. On Steam specifically, the game has hit a record of 269,177 people playing the game simultaneously, according to SteamDB.
It's not clear how many people have actually purchased Starfield. Being part of Microsoft's first-party line-up, the title is available in Xbox's Game Pass subscription service meaning that people can play that for a low monthly fee.
