One player learned the hard way that seven in-game years of friendship can be easily broken after kicking out roommate Krobus to get married. As one of the best role-playing games out there, the diverse characters that can be befriended and romanced make this indie gem as popular as it is. With plenty of relationships to forge, stories to learn, and characters to love, it's easy to grow attached to the NPCs the game holds near and dear.
When the user Frequent_Cycle44 decided they finally wanted to marry Leah, they didn't quite anticipate the outrage their roommate Krobus would have. After spending so many years living together, they thought it was time to move on, not realizing how it would impact their friendship. When they find him the next day in the sewers with their friendship completely reset, Krobus refuses to even accept a gift to make it better.
Devastated that their in-game best friend of 7 years would no longer speak to them, Frequent_Cycle44 came to Reddit hoping for a way to fix things. Asking, the desperate player hoped to find a way to repair the damage. Thankfully, one player came to the rescue with a way to make things better again:

While it is fixable to start a new slate in it probably won't feel quite the same after tarnishing such a long-running friendship. Despite Krobus having his own quirks and negatives as a roommate though, this player seems to be missing his presence more than expected. Revealing, it would seem that Krobus might be one of the best NPCs to live with after all.
