Reviews for Star Wars Outlaws have started dropping ahead of the open worlder's 30th August release on PS5. Generally speaking, the game seems solid enough. Plenty of reviews praise the title's vast environments, and the way that it captures the typical vibe of Star Wars. The visuals are also a point of positivity, with Massive Entertainment bringing some eye-catching sci-fi scenery to the table.
However, there are a few fairly consistent criticisms. A number of reviews have taken issue with Outlaws' gameplay, claiming that it's all a bit flat and, at times, buggy. Others say that it's very much a comfort food kind of game — that it rarely wows, even if it's a decent planet-hopping journey overall.
