New Star Wars LEGO diorama sets recreate famous scenes from the original trilogy. Star Wars has been a massive property since the first film debuted in 1977. The film grew into a franchise, as The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi quickly followed it, cementing itself within the cultural zeitgeist through massive popularity. Over the years, Star Wars has seen other films released while also expanding the IP with other forms of entertainment and collectibles. There have been numerous Star Wars-themed video games, comics, TV shows, board games, action figures, and even LEGO sets.
Lego has been producing Star Wars-branded sets since 1999, with an X-Wing Starfighter being the first buildable model released. Since that time, Star Wars has become one of LEGO's top-selling themes, which now features numerous sets varying in scale and detail. Recently, LEGO released a massive Star Wars AT-AT that retails for $799.99, with 6,785 pieces that is over two feet tall. Now, LEGO continues to expand its Star Wars theme with new diorama sets.
