As viewers have been wondering why Superman & Lois season 2 has had so many hiatuses, star Elizabeth Tulloch explains the cause of it. One of the Arrowverse's biggest shows that kicked off 2022, Superman & Lois season 2 continues the Kent-Lane family's story. The series introduced its take on what appears to be DC's Bizarro World, potentially re-introducing the idea of the Multiverse. All of the Arrowverse shows earned various orders, with Superman & Lois having 15 episodes.
Despite having a lesser amount of episodes than a standard broadcast season, Superman & Lois season 2 has had more breaks than usual. While hiatuses are common for any TV show, it has been an unusual amount of interruptions, even by The CW's standards. The show took its first break after season 2, episode 4 that aired on February 1 before resuming on February 22. After running three episodes back-to-back until March 8, The CW pulled Superman & Lois season 2 again until its return on March 22. Despite having only been back for one week, episode 9, which is set to air on March 29, will be the last one for a while as the Arrowverse show is heading into another three-week break.
