A recent tweet from starring cast member, Elliot Page, has revealed the first look at his character, Viktor Hargreeves, in the upcoming third season of Netflix's The Umbrella Academy. Premiering in February 2019 on the streaming service, the series immediately received critical acclaim from both streamers and critics alike, primarily praising the performances of the cast, the tone of the series, the cinematography, and the writing. After the first two successful seasons, the show's third season is currently set to premiere on June 22, 2022.
The Umbrella Academy follows a group of super-powered, adopted siblings, who were all simultaneously born on October 1, 1989, as they are forced to work together to solve the mystery of their adoptive father's death and stop an imminent apocalypse that threatens the world's existence, amongst other supernatural ventures. Joining Page within the show's star-studded cast includes the likes of Tom Hopper as Luther Hargreeves, David Castañeda as Diego Hargreeves, Emmy Raver-Lampman as Klaus Hargreeves, and Aidan Gallagher as Five Hargreeves. Page starred as Vanya Hargreeves, a character who has been confirmed as transgender and who is set to follow a similar experience to Page.
