Newly released images offer a first look inside Walt Disney World’s Guardians of the Galaxy ride Cosmic Rewind. The attraction intends to showcase the similarities and differences between the fictional planet of Xandar and Earth’s galaxies. Xandar serves an important role in the Marvel universe. The extraterrestrial escapade will feature the main cast of characters from the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, including Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldaña as Gamora, and Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer. According to the official description of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind released by Disney, after guests start their intergalactic journey by touring the Galaxarium and discovering the wonders of Xandar, the ride will take a turn, transporting park-goers on an exciting quest where they are called to action to help the Guardians of the Galaxy.
