The Umbrella Academy season 3 has many mysteries to solve that have been building up since season 1, and through a key location, it can fix Luther’s moon mission by giving it a big purpose. The superhero genre has grown so much in the last decade that it has allowed darker and lesser-known stories and characters to be adapted to film and TV, and among those is The Umbrella Academy. Created by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá, The Umbrella Academy debuted on Netflix in 2019 and became an instant hit, and fans are now patiently waiting for season 3 to arrive.
The Umbrella Academy follows the Hargreeves, seven adopted children who were born on the same day and under the same mysterious circumstances as other 36 children around the world. These seven kids were adopted by scientist and billionaire Sir Reginald Hargreeves, who as the kids developed superpowers, trained them and formed the team “The Umbrella Academy”. Season 1 saw them reteaming to stop the apocalypse, which they failed at, so they jumped to another place and time to save themselves. Season 2 caught up with the team in 1963 Dallas, Texas, and ended on a major cliffhanger as the Hargreeves returned to their present (2019) and learned that Reginald created the Sparrow Academy instead of their team.
