Star Trek: Picard showrunner Terry Matalas has confirmed a key detail about Worf’s upcoming appearance in the show’s final season 3. Star Trek: Picard is currently at the midway point of season 2, in which Admiral Picard and his make-shift crew have been transported to an alternate timeline by the god-like alien and Picard’s long time nemesis, Q. The Star Trek: Picard season 2 finale is set to hit screens on May 5, and will be followed up by the final season 3 in 2023, which has already wrapped filming.
While audiences still have a long time to wait before Star Trek: Picard season 3 begins, some major details about the season have already been announced. It has been officially confirmed that themain cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation(TNG) will be returning to reprise their characters in Star Trek: Picard season 3. The returning actors include Jonathan Frakes as William T. Riker, Levar Burton as Geordi La Forge, Marina Sirtis as Deanna Troi, Gates McFadden as Beverly Crusher, Brent Spiner in an unconfirmed role, and Michael Dorn as Worf.

Now, in a response shared to Twitter, Star Trek: Picard showrunner Matalas confirmed a detail about the appearance of Worf in the upcoming season 3. Matalas responded to a fan who asked whether the Klingon character would be redesigned to look like the Klingons in Star Trek: Discovery, or if he would retain his original appearance.
