Marvel has announced Squirrel Girl: The Unbeatable Radio Show!, a six-episode podcast written by Unbeatable Squirrel Girl's Ryan North. The new, audio-based story looks to be yet another unique outing for the quirky hero.
Doreen Green, aka Squirrel Girl, is a hero with superhuman abilities, a prehensile tail, and a telepathic connection to squirrels. Created by Will Murray and Steve Ditko, the character first appeared in Marvel Super-Heroes #8 and made sporadic appearances until she was featured as a member of the Great Lakes Avengers in GLA: Disassembled. She's since become a hit among fans for her chipper attitude and her ability to take on powerful foes such as Dr. Doom and Thanos. An evilclone of Squirrel Girl even managed to defeat every single Marvel hero.
