A new image fromSpider-Man: Freshman Year reveals five different Spidey suits. While originally pitched as taking place in the MCU as a prequel to the events of Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man: Freshman Year seems to be dramatically different than originally believed. With the revelation that it will feature Norman Osborn in a mentor role to Peter Parker instead of Tony Stark, and appearances by characters like Doc Ock, Scorpion, and Daredevil who were not mentioned or referenced in the MCU films, it appears that this is a different take on the webhead's origins.
That new dramatic take means a new suit. Spider-Man has one of the most iconic and recognizable superhero costumes of all time, yet the character has also had a number of iconic reimaginings of his suit. The MCU Spider-Man films featured a wide variety of suits used throughout, including variations on the Iron Spider and Spider-Man Noir suits in the comics. The first concept art for Spider-Man: Freshman Year showcased a different version of Spider-Man's prototype suit at San Diego Comic-Con.

Now it appears that the suit will not be his only one. At San Diego Comic-Con during the Marvel Animation panel, via CabooseEK, the studio showcased artwork and designs for the series. One of them highlights different alternate costumes Spider-Man will wear in the series, and while no names were listed on them, they seem to be pulling from various Spider-Man comics.
