New Spider-Man fanart has given the wall-crawler a superb redesign Marvel would be wise not to ignore. Peter Parker, better known to the world as the Amazing Spider-Man, is one of the most iconic superheroes of all time. The key to his success lies in his relatability; he's an "Everyman Hero," an ordinary guy who just happens to develop super-powers and who struggles to balance his superhero career with his personal life.
Spider-Man made his debut in Amazing Fantasy #15, by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, and he was an immediate hit. The issue was dated August 10, 1962, and this year Spider-Man will be 60 years old — although, of course, he's aged at a far slower rate in the comics. Naturally, fans are taking to the internet to celebrate Spider-Man's birthday in style, with many sharing fanart of Spider-Man, his rogues' gallery, and his supporting characters.

Take, for example, Brazilian concept artist Caio Sinem. He decided to share some art for an unfinished personal project, showing versions of Spider-Man, Peter Parker, Mary Jane, and Gwen Stacy. It includes his own version of the wall-crawler's costume, a gorgeous modernized design clearly inspired by Ben Reilly's Spider-Man outfit. There's an awesome aesthetic running through the four pieces of artwork, and it's easy to imagine all four designs existing in the same broader world. It's frankly a shame this project was unfinished.
