Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Clip Shows Sonic & Tails Crashing A Wedding
A new clip from Sonic the Hedgehog 2 shows the titular hedgehog (voiced by Ben Schwartz) and his new friend Tails (voiced by Colleen O'Shaughnessey) crashing a wedding. Based on Sega's hugely popular video game series, the highly anticipated sequel to 2020's surprisingly successful film is coming to theaters very soon. Early reviews for the sequel have been quite positive.
The film will see the Sonic the Hedgehog adjusting to his new life as the public hero of Green Hills, Montana. But when Dr. Ivan Robotnik (played by Jim Carrey) returns from his exile, this time with a newfound power and a new partner in Knuckles the Echidna (voiced by Idris Elba), Sonic must team up with his new friend, Miles «Tails» Prower, to take them down. The movie, directed by Jeff Fowler, will also see the return of James Marsden as Sonic's friend, Tom Wachowski, Tika Sumpter as Tom's wife Maddie, and Lee Majdoub as Robotnik's assistant, Agent Stone.

Paramount Pictures has released a clip from the upcoming movie on their YouTube channel, which shows the iconic duo of Sonic and Tails crashing the wedding of Maddie's sister Rachel (played by Natasha Rothwell). The groom-to-be, Randall (played by Shemar Moore), seems to be unaware that the wedding ring he's about to put on his fiancé's finger is actually one of Sonic's teleportation rings. Aware of this, Tom Wachowski abruptly stops the ceremony, forcefully takes the ring and throws it to allow Sonic and Tails to come through. Watch the full clip below:
