Warning! Spoilers ahead for Doron Dororon chapter 13!
The most (and arguably only) intriguing aspect of the new Shonen Jump manga Doron Dororon is completely based on Black Clover, proving why the latter series is king.
Originally taking stylistic cues from the axed series Candy Flurry and Bone Collection, Doron Dororon just diverted over to Black Clover by copying key aspects of the powerless mage Asta and his devil companion Liebe — during a key moment in the story. Chapter 13 of Doron Dororon reveals that Dora can only leverage the supernatural energy of his mononoke companion Kusanagi because he can't generate the necessary power that samurai must harness to fight these very monsters. Any other samurai who'd foolishly attempt this would find the mononoke's supernatural energy too immense and toxic to carry, possibly because of how it would combine with their own power.

This is incredibly similar to why Asta can harness anti-magic in Black Clover without experiencing any negative side effects. Anti-magic destroys or negates all magic, and since Asta is magicless, this odd magical antithesis doesn't hurt him, granting him incredible powers instead. And as later explored in Black Clover, the devil Liebe's hatred for his own kind inherently created anti-magic, so Asta is essentially wielding the power of Liebe whose kind is humanity's natural enemy, just how it is in Doron Dororon with Dora and Kusanagi's supernatural energy.
The greatest aspect of Doron Dororon is the relationship between Dora and Kusanagi. The instant readers learn how and why Dora can wield Kusanagi's supernatural energy unlike other samurai came at the most pivotal
