For those who want a hit of nostalgia, Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered has finally gotten an official release date. This eccentric rock and roll adventure will hit Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch as of 31 October 2024. Pre-orders for this classic game are available except for on Nintendo Switch. Within this Grasshopper Direct, fans can expect to see the producer of Shadow of the Damned, Shinji Mikami, Suda51, and a couple of other members of the team who will all be present to answer your burning questions about the upcoming release, as well as take you on a deep dive into the development of this brand-new remaster.
The remaster of Shadows of the Damned comes with plenty of new features, such as new costumes. This new game plus+ mode carries your weapons and appearances over to your next play through, where the difficulty is upped, but you still get to be just as powerful, if not more so, as before.
Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered also comes with a new 60 FPS patch and 4K support, giving players the highest fidelity gameplay. Unfortunately for those on Nintendo Switch, you'll still be stuck at 30 FPS, with 4K support limited to Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam.
