Blizzard at Gamescom - 30th Anniversary Warcraft Events, Warcraft Direct, & Overwatch Collab!
Back at Gamescom for the first time since 2019, Blizzard revealed a few exciting details about what players should expect from World of Warcraft for the rest of 2024. President of Blizzard Entertainment, Johanna Faries, shared Blizzard's plans for the 30th anniversary of Warcraft, a new game presentation called Warcraft Direct, and a collaboration with Overwatch 2!
As a part of the 30th Anniversary of Warcraft, Blizzard will be hosting several in-game events beginning in October, and they will share further details soon.
These events will allow players to earn unique in-game rewards while creatively celebrating the history of Azeroth. In the coming months, Blizzard will also share more information about Warcraft Direct, which appears to be a substitute for this year's BlizzCon.
