ASUS has unveiled two brand new ROG OLED "QHD" gaming monitors, the PG27AQDP & the XG27ACDNG which feature up to 480Hz refresh rates.
The two ASUS ROG OLED gaming monitors are designed to meet the growing high-refresh-rate requirements of competitive gamers. Both models feature 27" designs and come with the best-in-class OLED panels that not only make your games look great but with the technologies embedded within these monitors, you can experience fluid, crisp, and sharp visuals.
Starting with the ASUS ROG SWIFT OLED PG27AQDP, the gaming monitor comes with an anti-glare WOLED panel with a QHD resolution of 2560x1440. This panel features a maximum refresh rate of 480Hz at its QHD resolution, making it the world's first monitor to achieve this rating. ASUS is also bringing a new sub-pixel layout (RGWB) which makes images clearer. You also get the OLED Anti-Flicker tech, Adjustable HDR, and OLED Care+ support with up to 3 years of warranty. The monitor is now available for pre-order for $999 US.
The second monitor from ASUS is the ROG STRIX OLED XG27ACDNG which features a semi-glossy QD-OLED panel with a 360Hz refresh rate and the same QHD resolution of 2560x1440. The monitor comes with USB Type-C 90W power delivery and has a new design on the back, giving a clear look and offering up to 30% better heat dissipation.
ASUS isn't mentioning the pricing of the Strix variant yet but it expects the launch to take place in the coming months. All the same features such as AI Visual, Extreme Low Motion Blur mode, OLED Anti-Flicker, Adjustable HDR, OLED Care+ will also be available with the ROG STRIX model while offering a 3-year warranty.
