Gigabyte has introduced a total of eight new X870E & X870 motherboards including six AORUS designs for AMD Ryzen CPUs.
Gigabyte has announced several new X870E and X870 motherboards within its AORUS and Gaming families. As the new Ryzen 9000 CPUs are out, Gigabyte will be offering expanded features on AM5 platforms with these latest motherboards.
In a Facebook post, it unveiled the new Gigabyte AORUS X870E and X870 series, launching a total of 6 new motherboards, which will be targeting budget and high-end segments. Now, there are a total of eight X870 and X870E motherboards as follows:
The Gigabyte AORUS Elite is aimed at the affordable lower mid-range segment while the AORUS PRO series is targeted at the upper mid-range. Then there is the high-end X870EAORUS Master is designed for overclocking enthusiasts with a powerful VRM and connectivity. The X870E Eagle WiFi 7 and X870 Gaming X WiFi 7 are two non-AORUS motherboards with better affordability than the AORUS series but offer decent specs for modern computers.
The X870E Eagle WiFi 7 was quietly launched two days ago, featuring 18 power phases and support for up to 8000MHz DDR5 memory. The X870 AORUS Elite WiFi 7 v1.x features a 20-power phase VRM and the latest EZ-Latch Plus and EZ-Latch Click features for easier M.2 and GPU installation. The X870E AORUS Elite WiFi7 is an upgraded motherboard with better connectivity and RGB lighting on the I/O shroud.
